Petrovac is a small seaside resort with almost 300 sunny days during the year, long beaches and small sandy coves with thick pine forests and olive trees, hot and clean sea.
 The town beach of Petrovac almost 600 m long represents one of the protected nature reserves. The small islands Katic and Sveta Nedjelja are of a particular charm.
The “Lucica” beach with 220 m in length and surrounded by pine and cypress forests is at a distance of only 500m from the town.
